The Palace Trail length is over 70 km so it’s a proposition for more experienced cyclists. The trail starts in Mostowo and leads all the way to the Baltic shore. Initially, the route follows the Radew river and its broads, taking you past Lake Rosnowskie, Lake Hajka and numerous small coves for 20 km until Niedalin and Lake Niedalińskie. The next stop after Niedalin will be Strzekęcino where you can see the first palaces – the Amber Palace from the turn of the 19 th and 20 th century, and the nearby Classicist Revival White Palace built in 1921. The palaces are now part of a hotel complex. In the vicinity, there is also a historical water tower and old farm buildings.

Leaving Strzekęciono, head for Białogórzyno where you can visit a 19 th -century half-timbered church. The route leads to the Radew river, not for the last time on this trip. The river will take you to Nosowo where you will find the 19 th -century church of SS Peter and Paul, and the impressive Renaissance Revival palace built by Baron von Sprenger. There is also an 18 th -century park next to the palace. From Nosowo, head to the neighbouring village of Parsowo where you can see a Baroque palace in the heart of a historical park. The palace is now used as a retirement home.

From Parsowo, the route leads to Świemino and then north to Warnino and Wierzchomino, passing by the “Wierzchomińskie Bagno” (Wierzchomin Marsh) nature reserve which is one of the largest habitats of honeysuckle in Poland. In Wierzchomino, you can visit the 18 th -century church and the “Hortulus” thematic gardens where you can admire various garden arrangement styles, such as Japanese garden, French garden, stone garden, etc.

The final stop of the trip is Borkowice where you can see a historic mansion which has been converted into a private residential building. In the nearby Śmiechów, there is a Romanesque and Gothic church of Our Lady the Queen of Poland from the turn of the 13 th and the 14 th century. The route ends in Gąski at the lighthouse which has a viewing terrace with a spectacular view of the Baltic coast.
