Palace in Parsowo Palace in Parsowo

  • Address : 76-039 Parsowo

The origins of the palace in Parsowo go back to 1782, when its construction began. However, it was erected in three stages, during which the subsequent parts were added. Despite the classicist style, its body shows clear Baroque features. The von Gerlach family, residing in the palace, gathered a large number of porcelain, paintings and a book collection there, creating a magnificent library. The palace is surrounded by a vast park established in the 18th century, which also includes the cemetery of the aforementioned family. Interesting specimens of trees growing in the park are three fused fir trees, estimated to be 200 years old, and a 250-year-old common yew. Currently, there is a Nursing Home in the palace.
