Church of Our Lady the Queen of Poland Church of Our Lady the Queen of Poland

  • Address : 76-006 Kościernica

This brick and stone church from the late 14 th century is one of the oldest monuments of sacral architecture in the Koszalin region. It was built to replace an older church which had stood on the same site, and the site itself was likely a place of worship even in pre-Christian times. In the 18 th and 19 th century, the temple underwent reconstruction works which, as evident from the original foundations uncovered there, reduced its original size. The most interesting items inside the church include the stone altar and historical stained glass windows and the font. Near the church, there is a small bell tower with a Baroque bell.
