The forest cycling trails around Sianów are four loops of varying degree of difficulty. Three of those loops are around 25 km long, but the fourth has nearly 40 kilometres). For the most part, those loops follow forest paths, but will also take you to the local heritage sites and through some scenic landscapes. All four routes start in Sianów in Mickiewicza street. There is a large square where you can park your car.

Route no. 1 is marked blue. It’s relatively easy, with a few climbs that might require some effort to tackle. Start by heading towards Szczeglin Nowy, going around Lake Topiele from the north. On the first section, make sure to look behind you and enjoy the magnificent view of Sianów and Kłos. The route then runs through dense pine forest for a while which then turns into red oak-dominated deciduous forest which is most beautiful in autumn when the leaves change colour.

Pass through Szczeglin Nowy and head towards Borowiec. You will have to cross the Polnica river along the way. There is a makeshift bridge made with logs. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can also ford the river. After the crossing, there is a rather challenging climb to Borowiec. Your effort will be rewarded with a long downhill section which begins before Ratajki. In Przytok, you will find a rest stop near the “Sieciemińskie Rosiczki” nature reserve which protects the carnivorous, insect-eating sundews. From Przytok head to Sianowo, passing by Lake Małe Świdno along the way.
