Route: Mścice – Dobre – Cieszyn – Parnowo – Biesiekierz – Kotłowo – Jarzyce – Świeszyno – Cewlino – Manowo

The Granary Trail circles around Koszalin from the west and south, starting in Mścice in Dworcowa street, near the railway station. From there, head south towards Lake Parnowskie. Several hundred metres east of the lake, you will find the “Parnowo” nature reserve which was established to protect the nesting grounds of rare and protected bird species. In Parnowo, there is a palace in the park and an old granary, and the 14 th -century church of Holy Family.
The next stop is Biesiekierz which also has a mansion and farm from the 19th century, and a church from the 14th century which was remodelled in the 19 th century. From Biesiekierz, the trail will take you to Kotłowo where you can see another historical farm, and then to Dunowo, crossing the Czarna river and the railway tracks along the way. In Dunowo, drop by the Classicist Revival palace from the 19th century which used to be the main residence of the von Kamecke family. Near Dunowo, there is a village called Jarzyce where you will find the oldest church in the area, dating back to the turn of the 13 th and 14 th century. During the Reformation, the temple belonged to the Protestant community. After World War II, it was used as grain warehouse.
Continue east, past the village of Świeszyno which was once famous for growing potatoes and also had a large number of mills. There is also a Gothic Revival church from the 19 th century there. From Świeszyno, head to Manowo and the end of the Granary Trail. In Manowo, you can see a 19 th -century mansion converted into a hotel, surrounded by a park from the same period.
