Museum of Water
The Museum of Water in Koszalin is one of the latest cultural propositions in the city, founded by the municipal water supply and sewage authorities. Located on the premises of the old water intake, it is the first museum of water in Poland. Its collection includes plenty of interesting items, such as a section of an 18th-century pipe from Koszalin’s first timber pipeline which supplied water from the intake on Chełmska Hill (Góra Chełmska) directly to the town centre, or the reconstructed historic fountain.
The museum occupies the historic municipal water filters hall which is over 100 years old.
For an organised group visit, please contact the museum to arrange a date. Entrance to the museum is free.
