The first church in the village of Niemica was wooden and was built at the beginning of the 13th century - it was also the oldest consecrated church in the area. The temple we know today comes from the 15th century. It was built in the Gothic style, and was subsequently rebuilt in the 17th and 19th centuries. It was built in the shape of a rectangle, without a distinct presbytery. There is a tower to the west and a sacristy to the south. Inside, there is a noteworthy gallery, which is supported by pillars, a pulpit from 1648 and the main altar from 1626.
