Kołobrzeg Seaport
The main attraction of the seaport is without a doubt the eastern breakwater which is open for tourists.
The seaport at the mouth of the Parsęta river handles mainly commercial and fishing traffic, but also includes a marina on Wyspa Solna and has a small passenger terminal which services both local tourist boats and larger vessels sailing to the Danish island of Bornholm.
The western bank is occupied by the Polish Navy and is closed for tourists, just like the western breakwater and the beach beyond it.
The seaport can handle ships with max length of 100 metres, max width of 15 m and max draught of 5 metres,
One of the more peculiar attractions of the seaport is the annual arrival of a special train. Each June 1st, to celebrate the Children’s Day, the train goes through the port all the way to the lighthouse.
