This museum (which is a branch office of the Polish Air Force Museum in Dęblin) is a must-stop for all military technology enthusiasts. Located on the premises of the Air Force Training Centre in Koszalin, the museum’s collection includes a number of unique items, from uniforms through missile systems to missile artillery. For the majority of visitors, however, the key attraction is the aircraft, such as the Polish training jet Iskra TS-11 in naval camouflage at the entrance, or the JAK-40 transport airplane which until recently served in the now dissolved 36th Special Aviation Regiment and carried members of the Polish government. You can even go inside the JAK-40 to see how Polish VIPs used to travel. The museum also has an interesting permanent exhibition on the history of Polish anti-aircraft weapons.
The museum is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm. To enter, you will need to buy a ticket.
