Church of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Built in 1856, this octagonal Gothic Revival church with a very characteristic, 40 m-high steeple (designed by the renowned Prussian architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel) is one of the most recognisable landmarks in Sarbinowo.
The steeple, which has three bells from the 1920s, is well visible from the neighbouring villages and towns, e.g. from the beach in Mielno. The church was built as a Protestant temple on the site of an older church, which probably dated back to the 13th century, and is one of the most interesting Gothic Revival sites in Pomerania.
